※ Chinese Classes:

Classes focus on enhancing oral expression, combined with grammar explanation and thematic discussion. Multiple levels are offered, starting from beginner. You will be placed into the appropriate level based on your online placement test result. (Each class requires at least 8 students.)

※ Cultural Lectures / Activities:

Cultural activities introduce China's customs and culture in diverse formats, such as the culture of Chinese characters, Chinese cuisine, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese traditional medicine culture, and making Chinese traditional handicrafts, etc.

※ Language Practice:

You will complete tasks assigned by teachers in real-world settings—such as visiting shopping malls or parks—where you will communicate directly with local Chinese speakers. This hands-on approach efficiently improves your everyday communication skills.

※ Application Fee: CNY 600

Applicants who have previously studied at DHU, or who are recommended by a current or former DHU international student, will receive an application fee waiver.

※ Tuition Fee: CNY 3,600

Students who complete the course and pass the final exam will receive the program completion certificate.

APPLICATION & ADMISSIONS

November 30, 2026

Admitted students will receive an electronic Admission Notice. They should pay the tuition fee on time and prepare for entry into China as required in the notice. Students can attend classes only after completing the on-campus registration on time.

International students are required to purchase insurance that covers the full duration of the winter program. Proof of insurance purchase must be provided upon enrollment

No refund application will be accepted after the program starts.

You will take an online placement test to assess your Chinese proficiency and will be placed in an appropriate class based on the results.

During the first week of the program, you may change your class level within a specified timeframe.
