一、 背景介绍
中国是世界上最大的发展中国家，非洲是发展中国家最集中的大陆，纺织服装产业是发展中国家增加就业，拉动经济发展的主要动力。中国纺织服装产业链条完整，产能旺盛，推动中非在纺织服装产能合作是构建中非命运共同体的有力抓手。
东华大学（中国）与莫伊大学（肯尼亚）于2015年共同发起中非纺织服装国际论坛（简称“中非论坛”SAISTA）。论坛历经11载，先后在中国、肯尼亚、埃塞俄比亚、摩洛哥等国举办，来自亚洲、非洲、欧洲等多个国家和地区的学者、企业家参会。2016年，为进一步深化人文互动，中非人文交流论坛（SACEF）纳入SAISTA框架并连续成功举办十届，为中非友好关系注入了持久活力，不仅深化了中非学术合作，也为服务共建“一带一路”与推动构建人类命运共同体作出了积极贡献。
2026年恰逢中非人文交流年，中国与肯尼亚正携手打造新时代全天候中非命运共同体。论坛将于今年8月在肯尼亚埃尔多雷特举办，作为ICTA-EMOS 2026的重要组成部分，将为学术界与产业界的专家学者提供重要平台，共同探索教育、科研与人文交流领域的合作机遇。

2026 China-Africa International Textile and Apparel Forum and China-Africa Cultural Exchange Forum
Background Introduction
China is the world's largest developing country, and Africa is the continent with the highest concentration of developing countries. The textile and apparel industry serves as a primary driver for employment creation and economic growth in developing nations. With its comprehensive industrial chain and robust production capacity, China's textile and apparel sector provides a powerful platform for enhancing Sino-African cooperation in production capabilities, thereby contributing to the building of a China-Africa community with a shared future.
Donghua University (China) and Moi University (Kenya) jointly initiated the China-Africa International Textile and Apparel Forum (abbreviated as "China-Africa Forum" SAISTA) in 2015. Over the past 11 years, the forum has been held successively in China, Kenya, Ethiopia, Morocco, and other countries, attracting scholars and entrepreneurs from multiple nations and regions across Asia, Africa, and Europe. In 2016, to further deepen cultural exchanges, the China-Africa Cultural Exchange Forum (SACEF) was incorporated into the SAISTA framework and successfully held for ten consecutive sessions, injecting lasting vitality into China-Africa friendly relations. It has not only strengthened academic cooperation between the two sides but also made positive contributions to advancing the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
The year 2026 marks the China-Africa Year of People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges, during which China and Kenya are jointly building a new-era all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future. The forum will be held in Eldoret, Kenya, this August as a key component of ICTA-EMOS 2026, providing an important platform for experts and scholars from academia and industry to explore cooperation opportunities in education, scientific research, and cultural exchanges.
