On March 11, 2025 International Shanghai Fashion Season (ISFS) and POP Setting Boundary Spring/Summer 2026 Trend Release Show were held in West Hongqiao Business District of Qingpu District. The event encompassed three major sections: “Connecting the Yangtze River Delta,” “Rooted in Xihongqiao,” and “Empowering the Entire Industry.” It included multiple activities such as the launch ceremony for collaborative development of the fashion industry in the Yangtze River Delta, industrial investment promotion for Qingpu District, the “YiHuanXiWu” product launch show, joint premieres of designer works and local Qingpu fashion brands’ new collections, and the 2026 Spring/Summer fashion trend new product release. On-site, the event also saw the establishment of a global high-end fashion industry think tank platform, the release of the Fashion Lifestyle Index and Future Consumption Forecast Analysis Platform, as well as the signing of AI intelligent computing model cooperation projects, showcasing the latest achievements of digital empowerment in the fashion industry.
The ISFS has been held for four consecutive years and holds considerable influence in the fashion field. Leveraging this branded event, our Shanghai International Fashion Science and Innovation Center has seized the strategic opportunity presented by Qingpu District’s efforts to build a “Shanghai International Fashion Consumer Goods Industry Cluster” and actively expanded its “going global” strategic layout. The Center, in collaboration with the Shanghai Garment Association, has successfully organized distinctive activities such as the “2024 Yangtze River Delta · Shanghai International Fashion Season and International Folk and Intangible Cultural Heritage Fashion Release” and the “2024 Shanghai International Fashion SHOWROOM and Donghua · Cixing Knitting Fashion Innovation Workshop Unveiling Ceremony.” These initiatives have promoted deep cooperation among the university, the Shanghai Garment Association, and the Qingpu District Political Consultative Conference, while establishing substantial partnerships with multiple leading enterprises in Qingpu District. This has injected new vitality and momentum into the high-quality development of the regional fashion industry.
