中国传统服饰项目（3S-CTCP）是上海暑期学校的子项目，由东华大学主办，致力于让学员对中国传统服饰以及它们在现代社会中的发展有更深刻的了解。
The Chinese Traditional Costume Program (3S-CTCP) hosted by Donghua University (DHU) is a sub-program of Shanghai Summer School. It aims to help the participants gain a profound understanding of Chinese traditional costumes as well as their modern development.
2021年的3S-CTCP项目将以“可穿戴3D打印与中国传统服饰”为主题，引导学员从可穿戴3D打印的角度来理解和展现中国传统服饰。随着科技进步和智能化浪潮的到来，3D打印已经从社会炒作的热点话题成长为成熟可靠的产业技术，全球3D打印市场预计在2022年突破220亿美元。同时，3D打印可穿戴设计已成为时尚与科技结合的创新热点，在服装服饰行业呈现出多样化的应用形式。
The 3S-CTCP project in 2021 will take Wearable 3D printing and traditional Chinese clothing as the theme, guiding students to understand and create traditional Chinese clothing from the perspective of wearable 3D printing. With the arrival of the advancement of science and technology as well as the wave of intelligentizing, 3D printing has grown from a hot topic of social speculation to a mature and reliable industrial technology. The global 3D printing market is expected to exceed US $22 billion in 2022. At the same time, 3D printing wearable design has become an innovation hotspot combining fashion and technology, showing a variety of application forms in the apparel industry.
在此项目中，学员们将结合最前沿的流行趋势，以中国传统文化为主题，运用最新的柔性3D打印技术来进行时尚系列产品的创新开发。
In this project, students will combine the most cutting-edge fashion trends, with Chinese traditional culture as the theme, and use the latest flexible 3D printing technology to carry out innovative development of fashion products.

项目均为英语授课，课程分为三大部分：
This is an English-taught program, the curriculum consists of three parts:
A) 3D打印理论与技术储备
3D Printing Theory and
Technology Study
学员们将了解3D打印技术的基础知识、发展历程、在时尚领域的应用，并学习本项课程创意实践所需的必要数字创作技能。学生将有机会与3D打印艺术家零距离交流，并参观中国3D打印文化博物馆。
Students will learn the basic knowledge, development, and the application in fashion industry of 3D printing technology, as well as the necessary digital creation skills for the innovative practice of this course. Students will have the opportunity to communicate with 3D printing artists and visit the China 3D Printing Cultural Museum.
B) 中国传统服饰文化简介
Introduction to the
Culture of Traditional
Chinese Clothing
学员们将学习中国传统服饰艺术与历史，中西方服饰文化比较。了解上海特有的海派文化与海派时尚，结合当下流行的国潮设计，参观相关文化场馆与企业。
Students will learn about the art and history of traditional Chinese clothing, as well as the comparison between Chinese and western clothing cultures. Get to know the Shanghai culture and fashion unique to Shanghai, and visit the relevant cultural venues and enterprises in combination with the current popular Guochao fashion design.
C) 柔性3D打印时尚创意
实践工作营
Flexible 3D Printing
Fashion Workshop
学员将在老师的指导下进行3D打印时尚产品系列创作。拜耳旗下的Covestro科思创聚合物有限公司将基于其独创的柔性TPU 3D打印技术为学生提供全面的技术支持。
Students will create a series of 3D printed fashion products under the guidance of teachers. Covestro, a subsidiary of Bayer, will provide full technical support to students based on their innovative flexible TPU 3D printing technology.

被录取的参加者：免报名费、学费；项目指定期间免费校内住宿。名额有限，欲报从速。
Admitted participants: Application fee and tuition fee are waived. During the designated period, on-campus accommodation will be provided for free. SEATS ARE LIMITED.

Travel cost to and from Donghua University should be afforded by the participants.

Those who complete all required courses will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Who are welcome to join?
1、目前在华且持有效签证/居留许可者
Participants should be in the mainland of China currently and have already held a valid visa/Residence Permit.
2、服装设计、工业设计、产品设计、饰品设计、数字媒体等设计类专业背景的外籍学生或爱好者
Non-Chinese students majored in the fields of fashion design, industrial design, product design, accessory design, digital media, or enthusiasts with the relevant design background.
