Xinjiang University is one of the major universities in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is a national key university. Established in 1924 in Urumqi, Xinjiang University is a comprehensive university with the highest academic level in Xinjiang, under Project 211.
The school currently has nine disciplines, including economics, law, literature, history, science, engineering, management, art and philosophy, covering the main areas of advanced specialized personnel training and scientific research.
